Natural Therapy for headaches

The nose has a left and a right side.
We use both to inhale and exhale.

Actually they are different.
You'll be able to feel the difference.

The right side represents the sun.
The left side represents the moon.

During a headache, try to close your right nostril and use your left nostril to breathe.
In about 5 minutes, your headache will go.

If you feel tired, just reverse, close your left nostril and breathe through your right nostril.
After a while, you will feel your mind is refreshed.

Right side belongs to 'hot', so it gets heated up easily.
Left side belongs to 'cold'.

Most females breathe with their left nostrils, so they get "cooled off" faster.
Most of the guys breathe with their right nostrils, they get worked up.

Do you suffer from continual headaches?
Try out this breathing therapy.

Close your right nostril and breathe through your left nostril.

Your headaches will be gone.
Continue the exercise for one month.

Home Remedy - High Cholesterol & Heart Disease

Black Fungus

Black Fungus
Case 1
Today I went to TTSH for follow up eye check after they found (6 weeks ago) that
I have clots in the some of the veins in my right eye.
The eye consultant was surprised and very glad that the clots in the veins have all cleared and gave me a follow up appointment 3 months later.
I told him that I have been taking black fungus (Mok Yee in Cantonese) for 6 weeks which he personally accepts under "holistic medicine".
I also gave him an exercise disc which I brought back from Guangzhou which he was very happy to receive as he lacks exercise and his cholesterol is also high.

Case 2

A herbal treatment for High Blood cholesterol

I want to share a secret for treating high cholesterol.
Three weeks ago l went for a cholesterol check.
To my surprise, it was above the normal range which should be less than 5.2 mmol/L.

My reading obtained was 6.6.

I had been consuming a lot of red meat and lamb recently.
After consuming Mok Yee for two weeks, l had my cholesterol checked again and found that my cholesterol level fell to 4.70 mmol/L.

My pharmacist said that even cholesterol medication will need 1- 3 months to take effect.
She was very surprised and said it is a miracle.

Review:
I immediately followed an advice of a friend who told me about Black fungus (Mok Yee). He had four blocked heart arteries, over 90 percent blocked.
His cardiologist advised him to go for bypass surgery, failing which he would suffer an imminent heart attack.

His sinseh (Chinese physician) friend advised him against surgery as the procedure would be messy, painful and expensive.
He followed the advice of his sinseh friend by consuming Mok Yee daily.

After consuming boiled Mok Yee juice for 40 days, he went for an angiogram.
His heart specialist was surprised and shocked that his arteries were all cleared of any blockage and it would not be necessary to see him for another 10 years!

My observation is that Mok Yee juice is not only effective in treating high blood cholesterol but also helps to bring relief to joint paints, arthritis and poor blood circulation.

The internet info. claims that Mok Yee reduces blood clot, preventing thrombosis, atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease, and cancer.
Black Fungus contains abundant proteins, ferric iron, calcium, vitamins, rough fibre; the content of protein is equal to meat.
Preparation:
1) Pick a handful of Mok Yee and soak in water for 1-2 hours
2) Wash Mok Yee and cut to pieces with scissors.
3) Pour five bowls of plain water into slow cooker (crock pot)
4) Put 2-3 slices of ginger, 8-10 red dates, 20 kay-chee (wolf berry) into crock pot.
5) Bring to boil for 8 hours. One and a half bowls of Mok Yee soup will remain after boiling overnight.
Eat black fungus and drink the soup.

Consumption:

You may consume for 10 to 14 days according to the severity of the problem.
For those with low blood pressure consume less or only for alternate days.
Drink Mok Yee first thing in the morning with an 'empty stomach'.
Consume at least one large bowl.

Take breakfast 2 hours later.
Side effects - you may feel a little tired after 3- 4 days.
Consume multivitamins and fresh fruits and vegetables daily.
Do not eat oily or fried foods during this period.
Observation:

Dark and oily stool during the first two days.

Remarks:

Cholesterol medication is man-made and may harm the liver.
Mok Yee
is a plant and does not seem to contain chemicals that harm the body.

Take blood test for blood cholesterol before and after treatment and study the results!

Thick Black Fungus
Natural remedies for high cholesterol

High blood cholesterol is a very common condition mainly due to our unhealthy diet.
It is not a disease but a negative health condition that may contribute to many forms of diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases.
This article is mainly on how to reduce high cholesterol, and not about cholesterol.
High cholesterol is defined as a measurement greater than 200 mg/dL.
LDL cholesterol levels greater than 130 mg/dL and HDL cholesterol levels less than 60 mg/dL are considered high.
So much for the technical measurement.
There are numerous natural foods that can reduce high cholesterol. Below are five such foods:
  • Oatmeal or oats
  • Eggplant or aubergine. Also known as brinjal
  • Black beans
  • Corn
  • Enoki mushroom. Those little Japanese needle mushroom with tiny white caps.
However, the most potent one for reducing high blood cholesterol is the black fungus.

What is black fungus?

The technical name for black fungus is Auricularia polytrichaor Hirneola polytricha.
What a mouthful!
It is also known by other equally interesting names: cloud ear; tree ear; wood fungus, ear fungus, mouse ear, and jelly mushroom.
The Chinese call it “yun er” which means “cloud ear.”
Let us just call it Black Fungus.
Black fungus is usually sold in dried form. There are actually two types of black fungus.
The very thick one and the smaller flakey variety. Here we are referring to the thick black fungus. It measures around 5 to 8 cm (2 to 3 inches) and is black on one side and grey on the other.
Black fungus is very popular in Chinese cuisine. Although tasteless by itself, when cooked with other ingredients, it absorbed the flavor while maintaining its crunchiness. Black fungus is used in Chinese herbal medication to increase blood fluidity and improve blood circulation.
Black fungus can reduce high blood cholesterol.

Medicinal uses: Black fungus has a reputation in Chinese herbal medicine for increasing the fluidity of the blood and improving circulation. It is given to patients who suffer from atherosclerosis. Western medicine is now investigating centuries-old claims made by Eastern sages and finding them surprisingly accurate.

Top 5 Ways to Lower Blood Pressure

Excellent video on blood pressure

This video on blood pressure is very educational and worth sharing with your contacts. If you lined up all the blood vessels in your body, they’d be 60 thousand miles long. And every day, they carry the equivalent of over two thousand gallons of blood to the body’s tissues. What effect does this pressure have on the walls of the blood vessels?
Wilfred Manzano gives the facts on blood pressure.

A must watch video for all...

Top 5 Ways to Lower Blood Pressure
Source: http://www.healthcastle.com/top-5-ways-lower-blood-pressure

1. Eat Lots of Fruit and Vegetables
A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is effective in shaving points from your blood pressure reading. I don't want to go into detail preaching why fruit and veggies are good for you; you already know. Colorful, dark-colored produce like berries, grapes, kale, and peppers are also rich in antioxidants, which are beneficial in protecting your blood vessels. In addition, these low-calorie produce items help with managing your weight, which in turn helps control your blood pressure. Think about it: Your stomach can only hold a certain volume of food. If you're eating lots of veggies, you are eating less of other foods. One cup of veggies on your plate has at least five times fewer calories than an equal volume of meat.

2. Limit Salt and Highly Processed Foods
The salt shaker is not the main culprit when referring to salt intake; processed packaged foods are. I call them "highly processed foods" (HPFs) in my book Go UnDiet. These HPFs are manufactured foods beyond necessity. Think of pink wieners, fat-free chips, pre-fried instant noodles, and so on. They are often loaded with sodium.

3. Bump Up Potassium and Calcium
These both help to regulate blood pressure. Eat more potassium-rich foods such as beans, lentils, tofu, and potatoes, and calcium-rich foods from dairy, whole soy, canned fish with bones, or other fortified products.

4. Avoid Certain Supplements
Ephedra, ginseng, licorice, and feverfew may increase blood pressure. Check with your doctor before taking these supplements.

5. Eat Lots of Whole Grains
It is time to eat more than just white rice and pasta. The latest review of 13 epidemiological studies found that each serving of whole grains eaten was associated with a 7% reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP), a marker for body inflammation and an independent predictor of heart disease and diabetes. So, explore other grains in the bulk bin aisle. Grains like quinoa and millet take the shortest time to cook. I like more chewy grains like farro, wheat berries, brown rice, and wild rice; they often add texture to my dishes.

The Bottom Line

In addition to the above, watching your overall calorie intake and incorporating regular physical activities can help you shed a few pounds, an important way to reduce high blood pressure.

9 Blood Sugar–Lowering Foods
http://rodalenews.com/how-lower-blood-sugar?cm_mmc=twitter-_-prevention-_-rodale-_-9bloodsugarloweringfoods

Why Lower Your Blood Sugar?
It is no exaggeration—balancing your blood sugar could be a matter of life or death. Chronic high blood sugar levels are toxic to your body, destroying organs and blood vessels and paving the way to a heart attack, type 2 diabetes, stroke, dialysis, nerve damage, erectile dysfunction, or even blindness. The good news? Out-of-control sugar levels can be reigned in and regulated with the right foods.
We turned to The Carb Sensitivity Program, leading naturopathic doctor Natasha Turner's breakthrough book, to find the most potent blood sugar–lowering foods so you know how to lower blood sugar levels naturally…
Blueberries
Blood Sugar Benefit: A groundbreaking study published in the Journal of Nutrition in 2010 found a daily dose of the bioactive ingredients from blueberries increases sensitivity to insulin and may reduce the risk of developing diabetes in at-risk individuals. That's important because too many carbs produces too much insulin, which could lead to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
Adding blueberries to daily smoothies for six weeks also improves insulin sensitivity, so feel free to eat healthy doses of the superfood fruit, too.
Added Perk: Low in naturally occurring sugars, blueberries are also packed with antioxidants that fight damage from free radicals, accelerated aging, and diseases like cancer and Alzheimer's.
Avocados
Blood Sugar Benefit: Don't let the fat content of avocados fool you—they're still good for you! Avocados are full of monounsaturated fat, the kind that helps slow the release of sugars into the bloodstream, prompting less insulin release.
Added Perk: Avocados contain beta-sitosterol, a compound that could help quell inflammation after an intense workout. Just limit yourself to one-quarter of an avocado at a time to avoid calorie overload.
Chia Seed
Blood Sugar Benefit: This ancient gluten-free grain stabilizes blood sugar, manages the effects of diabetes, improves insulin sensitivity, and aids symptoms related to metabolic syndrome, including imbalances in cholesterol, higher blood pressure, and extreme rises in blood sugar levels after meals.
Added Perk: The tiny seeds are potent anti-inflammatory agents and also tout fiber, magnesium, potassium, folic acid, iron, and calcium.

Cinnamon

Blood Sugar Benefit: A 2003 study in the journal Diabetes Care showed that cinnamon may cause muscle and liver cells to respond more readily to insulin, thereby improving weight loss. Better response to insulin means better blood sugar balance and, therefore, less insulin released into your body.
Added Perk: Cinnamon also seems to reduce several risk factors for cardiovascular disease, including high blood sugar and levels of triglycerides, LDL ("bad")cholesterol, and total cholesterol. Just ½ teaspoon a day for 20 days is enough to improve your insulin response and lower blood sugar by up to 20 percent!
Spices
Blood Sugar Benefit: According to a 2005 animal study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food, a food-seasoning spice mixture containing various spices improved metabolism of both glucose and cholesterol, reducing blood sugar and insulin levels.
Added Perk: Fenugreek seeds and turmeric are particularly antidiabetic, but in some studies cumin seeds, ginger, mustard, curry leaves, and coriander also show diabetes-fighting properties.
Olive Oil
Blood Sugar Benefit: Olive oil, rich in the same monounsaturated fat found in avocados, prevents not only belly fat accumulation, but also insulin resistance.
Added Perk: Olive oil encourages the release of the appetite-suppressing hormone leptin.
Eggs
Blood Sugar Benefit: A study published in 2008 in the International Journal of Obesityfound overweight and obese people given two eggs a day for breakfast lost 65 percent more weight than those eating a similar breakfast without eggs. The researchers said eating eggs may control hunger by reducing the post-meal insulin response and control appetite by preventing large fluctuations in both glucose and insulin levels.
Added Perk: Studies show people who eat eggs for breakfast eat fewer calories for the entire day, as well as for the next 36 hours.
Vinegar
Blood Sugar Benefit: Vinegar has been found to blunt blood sugar and insulin increases, as well as heighten the sensation of fullness after a higher-carbohydrate meal. An Arizona State University study found people who started a meal with a vinegar drink enjoyed better blood sugar and insulin profiles following meals.
Added Perk: The blood sugar–balancing effect of vinegar seems to work even better in people with prediabetes compared to people with normal insulin sensitivity. Look for white or apple cider vinegar, but look out for balsamic—it contains more sugar.
Cherries
Blood Sugar Benefit: Cherries contain naturally occurring chemicals called anthocyanins, which could help lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found anthocyanins could reduce insulin production by 50 percent.
Added Perk: Anthocyanin-loaded cherries may also protect against heart disease and cancer.
The Real Way to Lose Weight
The secret to becoming slimmer and healthier: Pinpoint the right amount and type of carbs for your body. Instead of nixing carbs for good, naturopathic doctor Natasha Turner has developed an individualized plan to help you figure out which carbs will actually help you lose weight.

9 Symptoms We Should Never Ignore

9 SYMPTOMS WE SHOULD NEVER IGNORE....

I recently came across this excellent article by Beth Howard in the AARP magazine. It highlights nine symptoms that we should never ignore. I have taken the liberty of re-posting extracts below for educational purposes.
>
> 1. Sudden Intense Headache
>
> If you experience severe head pain unlike any you've had before, especially if it peaks in seconds to minutes in any part of the head, it could signal a ruptured aneurysm, a blood vessel in your brain that suddenly bursts, requiring immediate attention.
>
> It could also be shingles which can cause pain in the forehead days before the skin reaction erupts. Shingles is a painful flare-up of the herpes zoster virus that lies dormant in anyone who's had chicken pox. Contrary to common belief, sudden severe headaches are unlikely to be a sign of a brain tumor.
>
> 2. Chest Pain
>
> Any intense discomfort, heaviness or pressure — like an elephant sitting on your chest — could spell heart attack. It may be combined with pain radiating down an arm, nausea and vomiting, sweating, and shortness of breath. Women can experience more subtle symptoms, like fatigue, a burning sensation or upper abdominal pain. If these symptoms occur only during exertion, it could also be angina, which happens when the heart muscle temporarily doesn't get enough blood.
>
> 3. Unexplained Weight Loss
>
> Losing more than 5 percent of your body weight — without trying — over a period of six months could mean cancer: Weight loss is a symptom in up to 36 percent of cancers in older people. It could mean endocrine disorders e.g. hyperthyroidism, an overactive thyroid. The condition also triggers restlessness, sweating, increased appetite and difficulty concentrating.
>
> If your weight loss is accompanied by extreme thirst or hunger, fatigue and frequent urination, it could be a sign of diabetes.
>
> 4. Unusual Bleeding
>
> Ulcers and colon cancer can cause rectal bleeding or black or tarry stools. If you haven't had a colonoscopy recently, talk to your physician. Vaginal bleeding can be linked to gynecologic cancers. Bloody vomit can result from stomach or esophageal cancer, and people with lung cancer can cough up blood.
>
> Blood in the stool may be due to hemorrhoids, while blood in the urine may be the result of a bladder or kidney infection. Vaginal bleeding long after menopause may be due to the growth of benign polyps or fibroids. Vomiting blood can result from a tear in the blood vessels or an ulcer in the stomach or esophagus. And coughing up blood can happen with noncancerous conditions, like bronchitis, pneumonia or tuberculosis.
>
> 5. High or Persistent Fever
>
> Fever is your body's way of fighting infection. But fever of 103 degrees and higher warrants a trip to the doctor. It may indicate a urinary tract infection, pneumonia, endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart chambers and valves) or meningitis, which may require antibiotics to clear up. A persistent low-grade fever — for several weeks — with no obvious cause is characteristic of some infections, including a sinus infection, and some cancers, like lymphoma and leukemia.
>
> 6. Shortness of Breath
>
> When organs aren't getting enough oxygen, breathlessness can result. Sudden shortness of breath can indicate a pulmonary embolism — when a blood clot forms in the body's deep veins (usually in the legs), travels to the lungs and gets lodged in the lung's blood vessels. If you find yourself gasping after climbing two or three stairs or getting tired sooner than you used to, doctors will want to rule out chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), especially if it's accompanied by a cough and fatigue and you have a history of smoking. Irregular heart rhythm, congestive heart failure and other types of heart disease are additional possibilities.
>
> 7. Sudden Confusion
>
> If you're experiencing sudden confusion, personality changes, aggression or an inability to concentrate, it's important to see a doctor right away. In the worst case, a brain tumor or bleeding in the brain could be behind the delirium. If you're also experiencing slurred speech, difficulty finding the right words, or numbness or weakness in the face, hand or leg, stroke is a strong possibility. Get to the doctor immediately. Any delay beyond two to three hours may result in irreversible brain loss
>
> 8. Swelling in the Legs
>
> An accumulation of fluid (called edema) in the extremities can be caused by a number of conditions, but the one that most concerns doctors is heart failure, when the heart cannot pump as much blood as the body needs. When that happens, blood backs up in the veins, causing fluid to accumulate in the body's tissues. Heart failure is suspected when both legs are affected and the patient also has shortness of breath, fatigue and chest tightness.
>
> 9. Sudden or severe abdominal pain
>
> Sudden abdominal pain could signal that an aortic aneurysm has ruptured. Alternatively, sudden pain can indicate a perforated viscus (a hole in the stomach, intestine or other hollow organ), often due to an ulcer. Intestinal ischemia, which happens when blood flow to the intestines slows or stops, starving tissues of oxygen, can be a culprit, too. Each of these conditions is life threatening, requiring emergency surgery.
>
> Abdominal pain is frequently due to gallstones, which are hard, pebblelike deposits that get lodged in a gallbladder duct, resulting in sharp pain as well as nausea and vomiting. Although irritable bowel syndrome can trigger painful spasms in the colon, the pain tends to come and go over time and may also cause constipation, diarrhea or alternating bouts of both.

Arthritis Pain - Home Remedy

The Effective Sweet Treat that Relieves Arthritis Pain...
This is the best e-mail I have received, I tell you why.....

Some of you know that I have osteoarthritis stabalised by knee exercises and Glucosamine and Controntin for the last 8 years while a few of my peers had knee replacement during this time. Last November I went to Hanoi Bay and did quite a bit of climbing that aggravated the pain in my right knee and started the pain in the left. Still I persisted with my medication and knee exercises. It gave relieve up to 70%.

One of my favourite fruits is pineapple. I realize that for weeks since my trip to Hanoi I have not eaten any pineapple. I really missed that so went out to purchase one. Walloped one big piece heartily. Lo and behold, next morning when I started my exercises, the pain was nearly gone. There was around 95% relieve. Thinking it was the benefit of the exercises I increased the momentum another 5 to 10 minutes.

Later in the day I began to think how could the pain decrease so much overnight. Aha. only difference was the pineapple that I ate. Yes you guessed it, I went and walloped some more and obtained more relieve . Back to before I went to Hanoi Bay. Happy but too shy to tell anyone until my sister rang up to inform of her back ache and unable to stand straight. Rebuked her for not doing anything
like rubbing ointment or seeing a Dr. Jokingly informed her of my pineapple experience. Laughingly she said she was going to try that. A week or so later she came over and proudly showed me that she could walk straight without any pain. With thumb up she informed that the pineapple worked.

So friends if you or anyone you know have arthritis pain, pineapple is
worth the try. I dare to inform you after receiving this e-mail.

In Christ love,
* The Effective Sweet Treat that Relieves Arthritis Pain*
By Jim Healthy On October 19th, 2012

Did you know that there are certain kinds of foods that actually help
reduce or even stop arthritis pain?
These "superfoods" are usually easy to find and inexpensive.
Of all the foods that help fight against arthritis -- delicious, sweet
pineapple comes up close to the top of the list.

*THE SWEET PAIN RELIEVER - Pineapple
For generations, people around the world have used fresh pineapple to ease their arthritis inflammation.
Loaded with joint-protecting vitamin C, pineapple is undoubtedly superior arthritis-healing food.
Its anti-inflammatory ingredient -- bromelain -- is so potent that many
boxers drink the juice after fights to heal their bruises.
A 1960 study compared boxers who took bromelain with those receiving a placebo. In just four days, an amazing 78% of those taking bromelain were inflammation-free, while only 14% of the control group had recovered.

Other than bromelain, pineapple also contains manganese, which strengthens bones and protects joints.
Here are 5 reasons you should be indulging in this delicious fruit if you struggle with joint pain and arthritis:

*Reason #1: Joint Protection*

Higher intake levels of the antioxidant vitamin C is essential for people with arthritis...And just one cup of pineapple has a whopping 94% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA)!
Research published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases showed that vitamin C-rich foods protect against inflammatory polyarthritis, a type of rheumatoid arthritis in which two or more joints are affected.
If you have osteoarthritis, you may be concerned by warnings that you should not increase your vitamin C intake. But know that those warnings are based on a 2004 study on guinea pigs!
Studies on humans show vitamin C actually reduces pain, cartilage loss and disease progression.

*Reason #2: Healthier Joint Tissue*

Pineapple is a great source of the trace mineral manganese.
Manganese is absolutely essential for building healthy joint tissue and dense bones. One cup of pineapple provides 128% of the RDfor manganese.
Research shows that manganese tackles free radicals that can damage joint cartilage.
Tip: It's best to eat your pineapple raw. Fruit skewers alternating fresh pineapple chunks with strawberries is a great way to do that. Grilled and cooked pineapple is extraordinarily tasty too.

*Reason #3: Smoother Joint Movement*

Pineapple's enzymes literally clean up "rusty" joints. When you eat
pineapple on an empty stomach, the enzymes go right to work on your joints.
Tip: If you eat pineapple with other foods, the enzymes divert their
activity to digesting the rest of your meal instead of the gunk in your
joints.
So keep pineapple around for between-meal snacks. Juice the hard inner core as well to take advantage of the concentrated bromelain located there.

*#4: Pain Relief*
For optimal arthritis pain-relief, eat fresh pineapple. The bromelain in
pineapple is destroyed by heat, so fresh pineapple will give you the most benefit.
Frozen pineapple retains active enzymes, but canned fruit and commercially processed juice don't provide the anti-inflammatory benefit of fresh fruit.
It's important to note bromelain causes anti-clotting activity...
So you should consult with your physician before combining pineapple with blood-thinning medications such as warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, or aspirin.
Tip: If the fruit needs to ripen, keep it on your kitchen counter for a
couple days. You'll know it's sweet and ready to eat when the bottom
softens a bit.

*Reason #5: Protection from Inflammation*
Pineapple's bromelain halts inflammation. The sulfur-based enzyme bromelain in fresh pineapple is one of the best-researched natural anti-inflammatory agents around.
Bromelain clobbers inflammatory agents that trigger joint pain and
cartilage degeneration.
A 2006 study cited in Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology found that supplemental bromelain is effective in easing discomfort from hip arthritis.
The Arthritis Foundation stated that pineapple's bromelain produces effects comparable to NSAIDs for relieving pain and inflammation.
UK researchers reviewed ten studies on osteoarthritis and bromelain. They found that every single one confirmed bromelain's benefits.

Tip: Most of the bromelain in pineapples is found in the core and the stem.
So don't throw away that tough, fibrous core!

Just chop it up, throw it in a blender with some water and pulse to convert it to juice.

Comments...
Hi Guys,
I can confirm it works. Eat it fresh anytime and you can feel the results (less or no pain ) within a couple of days.
Cheers,
David

Remember the article below that was circulated in late July 2012?

I was experiencing weak knees while climbing stairs for a few months before that. Well, I tried the concoction as mentioned below and it works!

Some of you may attribute this to:-
a). A coincidence?
b). A placebo effect?
c). Plain lucky?

Whatever it is, all this does not matter. I do not have weak knees anymore. I am not saying that cartilage has grown. That I don't know.

Now I am just taking it once a week and have been able to walk up and down a steep road (1 in 7.5 gradient for the major part) 3 times a week, half hour each time.

For this, I am most grateful to the author and Tony Liew who circulated it to me.

Knee Maintenance To Prevent Any Knee Problems.....
>>
>> The Simple Knee Maintenance [English Translation]
>>
>> Simple, all you need is 10 minutes of your time daily to keep your knees healthy. After you have reached a certain age, it is common that you start to feel pain, less flexible or some kind of cracking noise on your knees.
>>
>> In fact, problem is about to surface when you begin to realize the "existence" of certain parts of your body. It is no coincidence, unfortunately.  You can think back the time when you were young. Did you ever have backache or pain in the neck? Did you feel pain in your shoulders or elbows? Did you ever experience weakness on your limbs? Your answers are probably "no".
>>
>> Why do you have these feelings? Simply put, it is the blood flow (and chi flow along the meridians) in your body is either no longer fluent or encounters some kind of blockage. The effect is similar to the blockage of underground sewage due to lack of maintenance. Therefore, it is important to maintain a healthy system for smooth blood flow and chi flow.
>>
>> To maintain your knees healthy, all you need is 10 minutes of time a day.
>>
>> 1. slap or massage the outer edge of the knees; (2 min.)
>>
>> 2. slap or massage the inner edge of the knees; (2 min.)
>>
>> 3. slap or massage the back (concave part) of the knees; (2 min.)
>>
>> 4. slap or massage the knee caps (2 min.)
>>
>> 5. Kneel down to "walk" on your knees (2 min.)
>>
>> See diagram on the right. Red circles are the relevant acupuncture points.
>>
>> Attention:
>> Must do these everyday; must do these before any exercise. If you cannot "walk" on your knees, you can slap or massage the back of your knees instead. Elders should not run, do speed walking instead. Running can hurt your knees further. If you ever go hiking, downhill steps must put weight evenly on bottom of feet. Never put weight on toes only. Putting weight only on toes can lead to knee injury.

Stimulate Your Prostate Using Your Feet

How to prevent / food that helps to fight Prostate Cancer

http://www.prostate.net/newsletter/Newsletter_02_25_2014.html

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Stimulate Your Prostate Using Your Feet

No this isn't as kooky as it sounds! We are talking about using foot reflexology to treat your prostate problems. Reflexology uses the assumption that the feet are covered with "reflex points" that correspond to various parts of the body that when stimulated, send healing energy to specific body parts.
Some 50 per cent of men in their 50s and a huge 90 per cent of men in their 80s have Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) or will experience symptoms of prostate disease including a frequent urge to urinate, dribbling of urine or the inability to empty the bladder completely.
Eva Urbaniak, N.D. a naturopathic physician offers a natural alternative to treating prostate problems. "There are reflex points on your feet that can send a surge of energy to the prostate, clearing out congestion and helping to restore it to health" she says.
In a study of the effectiveness of reflexology on improving the symptoms of prostate disease, performed by the Bauneholm School of Reflexology in Denmark, 46 participants found the following results; 65% experienced a reduction in their need to urinate, 67% experienced better bladder pressure, 60% experience overall improvement in their general condition and 80% experienced reduced sexual problems.
The best thing about this treatment is that you can do it yourself in the comfort of your own home. The instructions for massaging the points on your feet are set out below:

1. The prostate points are on the inside of each foot about an inch below the knob of the ankle bone and toward the heel.
2. Sit in a chair, bend over or lift both feet to the edge of the chair and 'pinch' the base of each heel with the thumb and forefinger of the corresponding hand, applying firm, steady pressure.
3. Then using a milking type motion, slowly move from the base of your heel toward your ankle bone.
4. Do this massage for a few minutes two to three times a day Reference: British Journal of Urology; Gottlieb, B, "Alternative Cures" The Most Effective Home Remedies for 160 Health Problems; Bauneholm School of Reflexology, Denmark .
